So we find the Berlin Wall coming down to be a good thing, and the destruction of the Iron Curtain to be positive but the mentalitiy of Oklahoman and Texans is to build a fence along a border rather than to embrace a troubled people trying to escape poverty, drug lords and street wars which will elude to America with or without the 'redneck' wall. It is ironic that no matter how gracious we are in helping other countries recover from their mistakes we are bumbling fools as we stumble backwards in to the same ones we just walked them out of!

I enjoyed this article very much. I was a teen-ager when the World WarII began in Europe. Hearing of the Iron Curtain was always a sad thing for me. I never knew of all the historical details of what and how this happened. I plan to follow all the articles on this. Thanks!
