Barons re-sign Deck
The Barons on Tuesday signed defenseman Nathan Deck to a two-way American Hockey League contract.
Deck, 22, has been with the Barons since Dec. 3 on a professional tryout deal. After a player appears in 25 games AHL teams must re-sign them. Deck’s two-way deal is with Oklahoma City and Stockton in the ECHL.
Deck has scored six points with the Barons. The past two seasons he scored 43 points in 79 games with Stockton.
The Barons return to action Friday night when they host the Houston Aeros.
