VandeVelde suspended three games
The American Hockey League Friday that Barons center Chris VandeVelde has been suspended for three games as a consequence of an illegal check to the head during Thursday’s win over the Texas Stars.
VandeVelde will miss Oklahoma City’s home games Friday night, Monday night and Jan. 1 at Houston.
