“The Twilight Saga: New Moon” Week continues here on BAM’s Blog, and in this Wednesday Video Spotlight, I’m sharing some trailers, TV spots, featurettes, as well as Taylor Swift’s hilarious “Saturday Night Live” parody “Firelight.”

I’m sure I don’t have to tell you that “New Moon” opens in theaters on Friday.

To celebrate this week’s 40th anniversary of the venerable children’s TV series “Sesame Street,” today’s Video Spotlight focuses on some of the show’s wonderful musical performances. These classic performances feature celebrities ranging from the late Madeline Kahn to Stevie Wonder, along with the “Sesame Street” Muppets.

 Well, loyal readers, this is it.  This is the last episode of “Red vs. Blue: Recreation.”  I’m sure there will be a mini-series or something to get us through the long winter months until the next Rooster Teeth series.  If so, I will try to keep you posted here.

Oklahoma City-based freakout rockers The Flaming Lips released their new album “Embryonic” Tuesday and capped their big day by performing the song “Watching the Planets” on “The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien.”

I stayed up late to watch the performance and it was definitely worth a little missed sleep. You should definitely view the YouTube clip posted above. After seeing it, I’m convinced I need to get a gong for home use. Since I have two kids and am considering purchasing a percussion instrument with that much noise-making potential, you know…
