The Oscars air live starting with the red carpet at 7 p.m. and the ceremony at 7:30 p.m. on ABC.
Remember, I’ll be live-blogging the Oscars starting at 7 p.m. Sunday, so you can follow along here on BAM’s Blog as the hardware is handed out.

“Up”

“Drag Me to Hell”

“The Cake Eaters”
In this week’s NewsOK entertainment podcast, George Lang, new entertainment intern Nathan Poppe and I talk about the new movies in Oklahoma City theaters this weekend.
Your choices include Pixar’s new triumph “Up,” Sam Raimi’s return to horror/comedy “Drag Me to Hell” and the Oklahoma City Museum of Art feature “The Cake Eater.” (According to George, the best part of that last one is a strong performance from “Twilight” actress Kristen Stewart.)
And you’ll want to hear us defiantly wag the finger of shame because “Drag Me to Hell,” which is getting terrific reviews for a horror flick, wasn’t screened in OKC. For shame!

Christian Bale in “Terminator Salvation”
In this week’s NewsOK movies podcast, George Lang and I talk about this week’s movies opening in Oklahoma City theaters.
Your options include “Terminator Salvation,” “Sugar” and “Night at the Museum: Battle at the Smithsonian.” “Dance Flick” also is opening but I don’t consider that a legitimate entertainment option for anyone with eyes, ears or a sense of morality, justice and/or good taste. I would like it to be noted that I avoided primal screaming while discussing “Dance Flick” in the podcast, though it was tough.
