Four-time Tony nominee Kelli O’Hara, an Oklahoma native, and opera star Nathan Gunn recently starred in a production of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s “Carousel” that aired on PBS’s “Live at Lincoln Center.”

As previously reported, O’Hara and Matthew Broderick are currently starring in the Broadway musical “Nice Work If You Can Get It,” which will be closing in June.

The Broadway musical “Nice Work If You Can Get It,” starring Oklahoma native Kelli O’Hara and Matthew Broderick, will be closing in June, reports the Associated Press.

Producers told the AP Wednesday the Tony-nominated production will play its final performance on June 15 after 27 previews and 478 regular performances at the Imperial Theatre.

The 55th Annual Grammy Awards are airing from 7 to 10:30 tonight on CBS, and I will be live blogging the be show right here on BAM’s Blog.

The Pre-Telecast Ceremony just closed out, and while no Oklahomans were early Grammy winners, a couple helped others win golden gramophones.

Oklahoma native and Broadway star Kelli O’Hara will be among the performers featured in the “Live from Lincoln Center” New Year’s Eve special “One Singular Sensation: Celebrating Marvin Hamlisch” on PBS.

In the Oklahoma City area, the special will air at 7 p.m.

Four-time Tony Award nominee and Oklahoma native Kelli O’Hara will perform Rodgers & Hammerstein tunes with the The New York Philharmonic early next year, according to the Associated Press.

The Philharmonic announced this week that O’Hara, currently starring in “Nice Work If You Can Get It” at Broadway’s Imperial Theatre, will appear as Julie Jordan in a production of “Carousel” running from Feb.
