Welcome to BAM’s Blog! I’m Brandy Amber McDonnell, and as you can see, I put my cool initials to good use in naming my blog.
About eight years ago, I started writing feature stories on movies, families, nonprofits and other topics for The Oklahoman and NewsOK.com, the state newspaper and news site in Oklahoma. I became a full-time entertainment writer about three years ago.
I love variety and get bored easily. Fortunately, my job allows me to cover a veritable cornucopia of entertainment, from movies and music to events and the arts. I’ll be sharing a hodgepodge of information, insight and ponderances with you on this blog.

On BAM’s Blog, we will laugh, we will cry, we will dance like children of the night together. OK, that’s doubtful. Hopefully, I’ll at least make you giggle or raise your eyebrows or go “Huh? What’s she talking about?” (That last one is probably the most likely.)
