Jabee to release new single “Stephanie (SuperUgly)” on vinyl at Saturday show

Oklahoma City-based rap artist Jabee will release his new single “Stephanie (SuperUgly)” on vinyl with an all-ages concert beginning at 9 p.m. Saturday at The Conservatory, 8911 N Western Ave.

Opening acts will include The Admirals, Elteazee, Taylor McKenzie, Militant Mindz and Knoble Savage.

The first 20 people in attendance will receive a free copy of the 7-inch, gold vinyl record with original artwork by local artist Michael Anderson etched onto the B side, and a T-shirt by GrpFly.

Doors will open at 8 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the door or online at TicketStorm.com. For more information, go to www.conservatoryokc.com.

Jabee has represented Oklahoma at Austin’s South By Southwest Festival twice as part of the state’s official showcase, the Buffalo Lounge. Plus, he was recently highlighted as an artist to watch by XXL magazine.

“Stephanie (SuperUgly)” was produced by EL-P and features vocals by Carlitta Durand.
