Pensive Pepper Potts featured in new “Iron Man 3″ character trailer
Marvel Entertainment last night revealed on Twitter (@Marvel) an ominous new character poster for its upcoming blockbuster “Iron Man 3.”
In the poster, a sorrowful-looking Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow) cradles an Iron Man helmet that has been badly gashed down the middle.
Directed by Shane Black, “Iron Man 3″ stars Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark/Iron Man, Sir Ben Kingsley as his new nemesis The Mandarin, Don Cheadle as his best pal James Rhodes/War Machine, Guy Pearce as scientist Aldrich Killian and Paul Bettany as the voice of Stark’s computerized butler Jarvis. The franchise’s former director Jon Favreau will reprise his role as Stark’s driver Happy Hogan.
“Iron Man” opens in theaters May 3, which is only about two months away.

Marvel’s “Iron Man 3″ pits brash-but-brilliant industrialist Tony Stark/Iron Man against an enemy whose reach knows no bounds. When Stark finds his personal world destroyed at his enemy’s hands, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible. This journey, at every turn, will test his mettle. With his back against the wall, Stark is left to survive by his own devices, relying on his ingenuity and instincts to protect those closest to him.
