Today’s featured event:
This month, Paseo Originals Art Gallery, 2920 Paseo, is hosting a kaleidoscopic exhibition of artwork by represented gallery artists that as a whole demonstrate an extreme diversity of style interest and artistic approach.
Headlining the event will be a jewelry trunk show for the new design collection by Norman artist Tomoaki Orikasa. Originally from Chiba, Japan, Orikasa works as a supervisor and mold maker at the Crucible Foundry in Norman.
Other visual artists featured in the show include Katherine Liontas Warren, Todd Jenkins, Chris Claussen, Stacey D. Miller, Roy Orr, Paul Pfrehm, Barbara Scott, Mary Bechtol, Jan Brieschke, Kate Rivers, Francene Levinson, Brett McDanel, Benjamin Soehnel, Pavel Wang Yu Tsai, John Byrne, Ron Fleming, Micheal Zecca, Wayne McKinzey, Michelle Himes McCrory, Jim Dodson Jr., LeRoy Schultz, Bob Adams, Joe Turk, Tom Wester and Morgan Robinson.
The exhibiting artists represent more than 20 different forms of media ranging from new media to precious metal. The exhibit will be on view through Feb. 27. The exhibit is free and open to the public.
Gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday-Friday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday. For more information, go to www.paseooriginals.com.
