I'm not sure if Bob was even at the concert, as a true fan of country music, the last thing I noticed was the sound system. Seeing George and knowing this was probably his last concert in OKC was definately emotional. Great concert, great song choice!!! Especially Troubadour and Here For a Good Time, and Give It All We Got Tonight, which aren't classics, but will be one day!!

Having seen him many times in several states and venues, this was absolutely one filled with emotion. Paying a hefty price for the VIP section, parking, dinner, and gift was worth every dollar. Seated on the floor on the second row was fabulous as he stood literally a few feet above me. He was moved by the crowd; the crowd was moved by his reaction to us. Since I try to get a copy of songsets at different venues for sentimental reasons and to frame, I did get his corner songset (which I had signed by John Michael/longtime keyboardist and guitarist). First time I saw George up close (another second row seat)was at The Tulsa State Fair back in the early 80's with Tanya Tucker opening (this was an outdoor concert if you can believe that). Our dinner was catered by The Deep Fork Grill in OKC Saturday evening and did leave much to be desired (most of it was good; the prime rib was a bit undercooked). Generally the crowd was great showing huge appreciation by deafening cheering, and I personally can not wait until I can see him again (wherever that might be).
