“The Voice” Season 3 winner Cassadee Pope and her coach, Oklahoma country music superstar Blake Shelton

Cassadee Pope, who was one of two finalists representing Oklahoma country music superstar Blake Shelton’s team, was named the first female winner of NBC’s hit reality show “The Voice” Tuesday night.

Team Blake actually had two of the three contenders in the finals: Pope and Terry McDermott, who finished second. The third-place finisher, Nicholas David, was representing Cee Lo Green’s team.

That makes two winning seasons in a row for Team Blake, whose Jermaine Paul won Season 2.
