The third annual American Country Awards were handed out Monday night in Las Vegas.
Co-hosted by Tony and Emmy winner Kristin Chenoweth, who hails from Broken Arrow, and multiplatinum country star Trace Adkins, the fan-voted ACAs were broadcast live on Fox from the Mandalay Bay Events Center. To see some of the co-hosts’ memorable moments from the show, click here.
With nine awards, including Artist of the Year, Luke Bryan received the most awards, followed by Lambert, who received three awards. Following her two wins this year, Underwood has earned a total of 11 ACA awards, the most ACA honors of any artist, according to a news release. To read more about the winners, click here.

That is a great picture of when Penn and Teller presented, and I thought that was the best little bit they had with the presenters. I always love watching the ACA’s because you can tell how much it means to the artists that the fans voted for them, instead of some academy. I was talking to a coworker at DISH who couldn’t believe that Taylor Swift didn’t win anything, but I can see it because she is not a country artist. I missed the show on Monday because I was volunteering at the church, but thankfully my DISH Hopper recorded it with PrimeTime Anytime. I love how it records everything during primetime on the four major networks without me having to set a million timers, so I don’t have to worry about forgetting. There may be a ton of these country music award shows, but I don’t care because we get to see some great performances every time.
