Happy 105th birthday, Oklahoma!
On Nov. 16, 1907, Oklahoma became the 46th state to join the United States of America.
In honor of Statehood Day, please enjoy Hugh Jackman and Co. sing our state song, the theme of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s famed musical “Oklahoma!” In 1998, Jackman starred in the Royal National Theatre’s London revival of the show, which was recorded and later aired on PBS.
The Aussie actor will be seen singing on the big screen on Christmas day when he stars in Oscar winner Tom Hooper’s (“The King’s Speech”) big-screen adaptation of “Les Misérables.”
