Oklahoma-made film “Just Crazy Enough” to open Golden Door International Film Festival in New Jersey

Oklahoma-produced film “Just Crazy Enough” has been selected as the opening night film at the Golden Door International Film Festival in Jersey City, N.J. It will open the festival on Thursday, Oct. 11, according to a news release.
Golden Door is run by Executive Director Bill Sorvino, son of legendary actor Paul Sorvino and brother of Academy Award winning actress Mira Sorvino.

“Just Crazy Enough” is a family comedy starring “Saturday Night Live” veteran Chris Kattan, who plays twins separated and swapped at birth. The film was written by Oklahomans Lance McDaniel and Sean Lynch. McDaniel also directed the film with Lynch serving as producer. The film’s production crew and cast consisted entirely of Oklahoma film professionals with the exception of two actors, including Kattan.
“Just Crazy Enough” was produced with support from the Oklahoma Film and Music Office, utilizing the state’s 35% Oklahoma Film Enhancement Rebate Program.
“Just Crazy Enough” also has been selected to screen at the Tulsa United Film Festival at 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12 at the Circle Cinema movie theater in Tulsa. The Tulsa United Film Festival is run by Oklahoman Jason Connell, a successful filmmaker and distributor, and highlights both Oklahoma made films and outstanding independent films from around the country.
