Rascal Flatts is the most awarded vocal group in country music today with more than 40 trophies from the American Country Awards, American Music Awards, Academy of Country Music Awards, Country Music Association Awards, People’s Choice and more. They have placed 14 singles at No. 1, sold more than 21 million albums and 25 million digital downloads since releasing their first album in 2000. The band is one of the hottest acts on tour in any genre, selling more than 6 million concerts tickets, and counting. They are currently on their Farmers Insurance Presents “Changed Tour” with Little Big Town, and Big Machine Label Group labelmates Eli Young Band and Edens Edge opening through the fall.
The Flatts will become the second country artist with Oklahoma ties to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame this month. Norman-born, Oklahoma City-bred singer/songwriter/musician Vince Gill received his star Sept. 6.
