Blake Shelton and Team Blake featured on cover of Country Weekly magazine

Oklahoma country music superstar Blake Shelton is featured on the cover of the Sept. 10 issue of Country Weekly magazine, on newsstands today.
In the cover story, titled “Team Blake: Blake Shelton opens up about his struggle with returning for back to back seasons of ‘The Voice,’” the Tishomingo resident talks about the support he receives from his wife, fellow country superstar Miranda Lambert, and how they make time to be together despite their busy schedules.
“She still loves to be on the road, but she still figures out a way to find me and be with me,” he tells the magazine. “That not only saves our marriage, that saves me as a human being that she does that for me.”
The Ada native also talks about his stint on NBC’s “The Voice” and what the show has done for his career.
“The Voice,” which started out as a spring show, adds a fall run to its original midseason slot this year, with Season 3 debuting Monday, Sept. 10.
Executive producer Mark Burnett recently said that “The Voice” will begin letting coaches “steal” contestants from each other during the show’s “battle rounds,” reports the Associated Press.
The show also will introduce a new “knockout round” to slice the number of contestants on each coach’s team.
