always loved melanie still do pretty boy floyd was from her eighth album though called “madrugada” woody was great too i only got to hear his stuff because of people like melanie, phil ochs and joan baez

Melanie is the last of the “great ones”. To be in the audience during one of her concerts is mesmerizing. So much History and raw talent in this one woman. It is nice to see that after all these years she can still headline a festival. I am jealous – I cannot be there. Those that attend are set to see something amazing – if all you ever thought she was is “BNK” or “Candles” – wait till you hear what you have been missing. Keep singing and writing Melanie – you are still the best!

I think you story on woody guthrie was great, but I think you should have dine more about huntingtons and how it has an incredible effect on Oklahomans who have children because of religious beliefs without the care that huntingtons is only passed along genetically. And many oklahoman suffer when they don’t need to from a disease that can be prevented by not having kids.
