Brad Paisley bringing his “Virtual Reality World Tour” to Tulsa Aug. 16

TULSA – Brad Paisley is bringing his highly acclaimed “Virtual Reality World Tour” to the BOK Center on Aug. 16.

After wrapping the first leg of the highly successful tour this past weekend, an additional 43 dates were announced today, including the stop in Tulsa at the BOK Center. Joining him will be Academy of Country Music and Country Music New Artist of the Year winners The Band Perry and Mercury Records recording artist Easton Corbin.

Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, May 4 and will be available online at www.bokcenter.com, Arby’s Box Office, all Tickets.com outlets, or by calling (866) 7BOKCTR.

Paisley is a consummate singer, songwriter, guitarist and entertainer who has earned three Grammys, 14 Academy of Country Music Awards and 14 Country Music Association Awards, including Entertainer of the Year for 2010.

He has placed 20 singles at the top of the charts, including a duet with Checotah native Carrie Underwood, “Remind Me,” and his new single “Camouflage.” Paisley’s current album, “This Is Country Music,” debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart and is his sixth consecutive studio album to debut as the nation’s country best-seller.

He released his first book, “Diary of a Player,” on Nov. 1, 2011 and was on the New York Times Best Seller list for two weeks. Paisley’s 2011 “H2O II: Wetter & Wilder Tour” played to more than 1 million fans in the U.S. and Europe. His 2012 tour “Virtual Reality World Tour” kicked off on Jan. 12 and played to three sold-out shows and 39,000 fans that weekend.
