Toby Keith’s “Clancy’s Tavern” goes gold

Oklahoma country music superstar Toby Keith’s latest album, “Clancy’s Tavern,” has has gone gold for shipping 500,000 copies, according to CMT.com.
Released in October 2011 and debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard country albums chart, “Clancy’s Tavern” includes his two most recent hit singles, “Made in America” and “Red Solo Cup.”
In January, Keith earned a platinum single for “Red Solo Cup,” signifying 1 million downloads, as well as a gold single for “Made in America,” representing 500,000 downloads.
According to CMT.com, “Clancy’s Tavern” is Keith’s first gold album since 2008′s “That Don’t Make Me a Bad Guy.”
