Greyson Chance featured on cover of “The World Almanac for Kids 2012,” playing Oklahoma City show Friday
He wooed viewers on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” with his cover of Lady Gaga’s “Paparazzi,” racked up nearly 42 million YouTube hits, then landed a record deal with Ellen’s eleveneleven label. Now Edmond teenage music sensation Greyson Chance is featured on the cover of “The World Almanac for Kids 2012,” on sale now.
“The World Almanac for Kids 2012″ not only boasts vivid maps but also homework help chapters, Spanish tutorials, and more. The reference book provides timely and timeless information on popular subjects such as animals, science, sports, music, U.S. history and more. Readers will find out what’s hot in 2012 with full-color photographs and facts about favorite sports and entertainment superstars.
Country music superstar Taylor Swift, skateboard sensation Ryan Sheckler and FIFA’s top female soccer star Marta appear on the cover, too.
Greyson celebrated his 14th birthday Tuesday, and he’s planning a hometown show to mark the occasion.
The YouTube phenom, who released his debut album “Hold on ‘Til the Night” earlier this month, will appear in concert Friday night at Frontier City, 11501 N Interstate 35 Service Road.
