Video: Blake Shelton talks about choosing Patrick Thomas over Tyler Robinson on “The Voice”
The second of the Battle Rounds will air at 9 tonight on the NBC reality TV show “The Voice,” and it will be interesting to see which singers the four celebrity coaches – Oklahoma country music star Blake Shelton, rapper Cee Lo Green, diva Christina Aguilera and Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine – pit against each other in the ring this time around.
In this video, Shelton talks about his controversial choice to send country singer Patrick Thomas to the final live shows and to eliminate openly gay soulful crooner Tyler Robinson. From what Shelton says in this video, it was a tough decision, and Patrick’s edge over Tyler was a slight one.
“The Voice” airs at 9 tonight on NBC (KFOR-4 in Oklahoma City).

I think Blake made the right choice, the song wasn’t too right for Tyler, and Patrick sang it better. I’m sure that Blake didn’t choose Patrick over Tyler because of Tyler’s sexuality or Patrick’s looks. I have to say Patrick is HOT!
