Twinprov performing at 51st Speakeasy tonight on farewell tour before Chicago Improv Festival

Brothers Clint and Buck Vrazel will mark their two-year anniversary performing as Twinprov by becoming the first act from Oklahoma to perform as part of the prestigious Chicago Improv Festival, set for Monday-May 1 in the Windy City.

Leading up to their trek to the birthplace of modern American improvisational comedy, the Vrazels are playing a sort of local farewell tour this week.

The dynamic duo will be part of the lineup at 8:30 tonight during the free weekly Thursdays Don’t Suck show at 51st Street Speakeasy, 1114 NW 51.

The brothers will perform Friday night at the final show of the OKC Improv spring run. The Vrazel brothers, among the co-producers of the OKC Improv showcase, will close the 8 p.m. show as part of the Shakespeare-spoofing troupe Fortune’s Fools and headline the 10 p.m. lineup as Twinprov.

At 7 p.m. Saturday, the siblings will participate in the 10th anniversary reunion show for O.U. Improv!, of which they are founding members, at the University of Oklahoma. For more information, go to www.twinprov.com.

Look for my interview with Twinprov Friday here on BAM’s Blog, at NewsOK and in the Weekend Look section of The Oklahoman.
