While Tishomingo resident Miranda Lambert dominated Sunday night’s Academy of Country Music Awards, which aired live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, several other country stars with Oklahoma ties were prominently featured in the show.

Blake Shelton and Reba McEntire co-hosted the show, Toby Keith played his new single and was nominated for entertainer of the year and Ronnie Dunn performed on the show for the first time since Brooks & Dunn split. And 2005 “American Idol” winner Carrie Underwood performed a rocking medley with “Idol” judge and Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler.
