Avengers Cast Filling Out
The cast of Joss Whedon’s “Avengers” movie is starting to fill out. Besides the obvious, like Robert Downey, Jr. (as Iron Man), Samuel L. Jackson (as Nick Fury), and Scarlett Johanssen (as Black Widow), it was also known that Chris Evans will reprise the role he will bring to life first in the upcoming Captain America movie and Chris Hemsworth will do the same for Thor. At Comic-Con, it has been confirmed that Mark Ruffalo will replace Edward Norton (who was recently dropped by Marvel) as Bruce Banner/The Hulk. Also, The Hurt Locker star Jeremy Renner will play Hawkeye. There is a lot of excitement building for this movie and it was obvious during the Comic-Con panel. The Avengers movie is scheduled for 2012.
