As some one that hates country music, yes, she's country. When you truly hate country music it's like fingernails on a chalkboard. So there's no hiding the fact that she's country, imo.

Funny that she doesn't seem very accepted to a lot of country fans though, lol, but keep her off normal mainstream radio stations!!

Taylor Swift is a traitor to Country Music because she releases Pop Version of her hits on Non-Country Stations.

I remember there being an article that stated that Radio Stations approached Kellie Pickler about playing her Country Hit Song "Best Day's Of Your Life" but they wanted to remake the song with a more pop sound and Kellie Pickler said ABSOLUTELY NOT! I refuse to have my Country Sound altered in any way. I grew up listening to Country Music, I'm a fan of Country Music and Country Music is what I play. Either respect me and play my Country Music sound or don't play my music on your stations at all. I'm TOTALLY fine with ONLY Country Music playing my music. That's what Kellie Pickler said.

Now that in my honest opinion is Called being true to Country Music.

P.S. I like Taylor Swift's music but just with every new song that she releases, Taylor's music is beginning to sound less and less like Country Music and so it REALLY does appear that she is selling herself out of Country Music. I mean listen to her first hit song called "Tim McGraw" which ACTUALLY sounded Country and NOW listen to all the music that she has released and tell me how Taylor Swift's music sounds like Country Music in any way?

P.P.S I'm from Brooklyn, NY so I would DEFINITELY know the difference between Country Music and Pop since in the City of NY they rarely ever play any Country Music. I know just about EVERY Country SOng and every Country SInger because I am a die hard Country Music fan and I can honestly say that Country Music today hardly sounds like Country Music at all except for a few select country singers. For example Easton Corbin, George Strait, Alan Jackson, Joe Nicols, Josh Turner, Zac Brown Band, Miranda Lambert, Chris Young, Reba McEntire, laura Bell Bundy, Eric Church, Justin Moore, Luke Bryan and a few select others. Even some of the country singers I mentioned don't sound pure country but this is as close you get to pure sounding country music today.

I think there needs to be a new genre called Country Pop/Rock. I think we need Country Music Radio Stations and Country Pop/Rock Stations. I LOVE all sounds of Country Music but sometimes I would like to JUST listen to 100 PURE Country Muasic with ABSOLUTELY no POP/Rock in the music. Like I did say, I'm a fan of any music that sounds remotely like Country Music.
