It’s ACM Week on BAM’s Blog, so Blake Shelton, come on down!
The Oklahoma country music star will appear on the long-running game show “The Price Is Right” during a country music-theme episode airing at 10 a.m. Friday on CBS, reports The Oklahoman’s TV Expert Penny Soldan.
The Ada native won’t be a contestant; rather, he will act as a “Price Is Right” model. During the “Half Off” segment, he will present a prize in a unique fashion, Penny reports.
Kristy Osmonson and Kelley Shephard, members of the duo Bomshel, also will appear on Friday’s episode. Both Shelton and Bomshel are 2010 Academy of Country Music Award nominees.
Shelton, who lives in Tishomingo, and Trace Adkins are nominated for the ACM for vocal event of the year for their hit duet “Hillbilly Bone.”
During the episode, the show will award one of the showcase winners a trip to Las Vegas to attend the 45th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards, which will air live at 7 p.m. Sunday. Fans can follow my live blog of the awards show Sunday night here on BAM’s Blog.
