Oklahoma cowboys Jet and Cord McCoy take the lead on “The Amazing Race”

Oklahoma cowboys and brothers Jet and Cord McCoy took over first place Sunday night on the second leg of Season 16 of “The Amazing Race.”
I missed Sunday night’s episode, but my colleague Penny Soldan reports on her always-informative TV blog that the Tupelo rodeo champs looked right at home in Chile, where the challenges included dressing a llama and milking a cow.
“Don’t let the cowboy hats fool you,” Cord said at the end of Sunday’s episode.
For their first-place finish, the brothers were awarded sail boats, which I imagine will come in very handy in future legs of the race. The next stops are in Argentina and Germany.
“The Amazing Race” airs at 7 p.m. Sundays on CBS. To read Penny’s full report on Sunday night’s episode, click here.
