Rascal Flatts, All-American Rejects featured on Team USA Winter Olympics soundtrack

All-American Rejects

Rascal Flatts

The 2010 Olympic Winter Games (airing on NBC and its sister channels) are going on now in the Great White North of Vancouver, British Columbia, and two bands with Oklahoma ties are offering music to U.S. athletes’ ears.

Country trio Rascal Flatts, which includes Joe Don Rooney of Picher, and pop-rockers All-American Rejects, who hail from Stillwater, are among the diverse lineup of artists who have contributed new recordings to the 2010 AT&T Team USA Soundtrack.

The songs are available for purchase on iTunes, and ringtones featuring the tracks are available for purchase by AT&T wireless customers. All proceeds from the purchase of songs, ringtones and answer tones through March 1 will be donated to Team USA.

Rascal Flatts revamped the lyrics to contribute an “Olympics Mix” of their hit “Unstoppable,” while the Rejects are offering a remix by Chad Hugo of the Neptunes of their signature song “Move Along.”

Others providing tracks for the project include Sugarland, 3 Doors Down, Mariah Carey, Green River Ordinance, Gloriana, Hoobastank and Puddle of Mudd.
