Arcadia’s Pops soda emporium nearing 1 millionth bottle sold; offering prize pack for buyer

Pops “soda ranch” in Arcadia on Route 66 is fast approaching the 1 million bottle sold mile marker, according to a news release.

As a way of saying thanks to all the customers who have shopped at Pops, the restaurant/soda emporium is giving the lucky customer who purchases the millionth bottle of pop a fabulous prize package. In honor of Route 66, this prize includes soda for one year, 66 free burgers and fries, 66 scoops of ice cream, and 2,400 miles worth of gas, which is the length of Route 66!

In the past few years, the signature Pops soda bottle with LED lighting has fast become an icon of the Mother Road. At night, the LED lights transform the giant bottle into a magnificent light show. Opened in 2007, the building itself looks futuristic with modern fuel pumps out front.

The restaurant serves a variety of road trip fare, from salads to hamburgers to chicken fried steak. But the real attraction is the soda selection: Pops stocks more than 500 different varieties.
