Reba McEntire, George Strait featured on Country Weekly cover
Longtime country music stars Reba McEntire and George Strait are featured on the cover of the Nov. 23 issue of Country Weekly magazine, on sale now.
The story, titled “Still Going Strong,” coincides with the superstars’ recently announced plans to tour together in 2010. The tour will kick of Jan. 22 in Baltimore and stop Feb. 20 at Tulsa’s BOK Center. McEntire was raised in Chockie, OK.
This cover story takes a close-up look at both stars and explores why Strait and McEntire keep riding high long after many others have faded into the sunset.

I’m not a huge fan of Reba’s, but George Strait is my favorite country music singer. I want to attend their show in Greensboro, but before I knew about this tour I bought tickets to see Vince Gill on the same night. I’ve never seen Vince and have seen George several times and have seen Reba one time. I think this will be a great show regardless!
