Wow, Country Music has definitely sold out. I can’t believe T. Swift won Female Vocalist against real talents like Martina McBride and Reba. I would have even accepted Carrie Underwood winning this award, she can actually sing and stood up under Simon Cowell’s scrutiny, something poor Taylor would have never survived, much less made it to the first round of AI. It’s all about the money folks.

Taylor Swift… give me a break. Not only can’t she sing… she can’t even lip sync.
The CMA’s are a sham. With real talent around why does this group have to stoop so low?

What a joke. The Country Music Association definately sold out country music by giving Taylor Swift the entertainer of the year award. Way to compromise the integrity of country music’s most prestigious award by giving it to a POP artist who cannot even sing. This past summer, Chesney sold more concert tickets than any other artist in ANY MUSIC GENRE. Paisley, Urban, and Strait were infinitely more qualified to win the award. The CMA “industry experts” who vote for the awards should be ashamed of themselves…

Taylor Swift is horrible….. did she think she was at the MTV Awards etc throwing a chair and going crazy throwing her hair around, she is so fake and and cannot sing at all, after research heard her father has funded her success and am sure the West thing everyone felt sorry for her…. but please, she is not even in the same catagory as the other nominees…… so sad the CMA allowed this to happen….

i agree taylor cannot sing, everyone should boycott the cma, this was a true popularity contest, nothing else. i admire people with true talent, but idol winners and the taylor’s in the world HAVE NOT paid their due’s yet, reba,dolly.george ,barbara all spent endless sleepless days and nights singing in every hole in the hall to get where they are today. they all worked their butts off to acheive fame, they did not have daddy,or idol to hand them their fame. all of these idol winners and daddy girls got famous,rich the easy way. their awards should be stripped. and TAYLOR DEAR, YOU SHOULD STICK TO KARAOKE.

it takes hard work and determination to get where reba,dolly,barbara,loretta, george is at. you dont get there overnight. taylor, is just the latest teenage idol, a flash in the pan, a shooting star,well,shooting stars BURN OUT!!!!Everybody deservers 15 minutes of fame, but i do beileve that taylors win was bought by her father, and i am not being cruel, but somebody really needs to get in contact with taylor and tell her to stop singing until she gets some professional lessons,which usually takes about 2 yrs. then she can sing again, i am concerned thather studio albums are DEFINETLY FAKE. guys seriously? come on do any of u realize how many great artists sound terrible live? Rascal Flatts, Miranda Lambert, and yes even Kieth Urban. Great artists that for one reason or anther don’t have it on that night. I’ve seen Taylor in concert twice and I’m here to tell that girl can sing. The CMA’s gave the award to not only a person with great acheivments but a person who has the potential to be the face of country music for a long time to come, and as for her being a POP star give me a break get your ears checked and I dont hear any of you complaining about Darius Tucker who actually was a POP star. So until the day you win a CMA then you have no idea what your talking about so keep it shut!

Omg, are you guys serious? I mean honestly, if Taylor Swift couldn’t sing or wasn’t good enough to be on stage, then why is she on stage? Or why does she have a record contract? Or why does she have all the fans she has? No it’s not all about money. No it’s not because she’s a quote unquote teen idol. She worked hard for it and she got it. I don’t see any of you people getting off your couch or away from you computer to do what she’s done.

I can’t stand it when people say Taylor can’t sing. I went to one of her fearless tour concerts and she sings very well. And yes, she did work very hard to get to where she is today. Yes, she is the latest teen idol, but no tha is not why she won. I do bleive that carrie should’ve won female vocalist of the year, but: fearless is an amazing album, taylor’s concerts are the very best concerts to go to, etc. Taylor deserved what she got! She has worked so hard to get to where she is! She tried for so long to make it to the big stage, and she did, unlike the people that are commenting rude and ugly remarks. ily taylor!

If Taylor Swift didn’t deserve the awards that she won she wouldn’t have won them. If people all around the world didn’t enjoy her music she wouldn’t have won. If she wasn’t talented or couldn’t sing then she wouldn’t have won! I would also like to say that she is a young girl and that maybe she gets nervous while preforming on live TV. I mean honestly who wouldn’t? There is a difference between critisism and just being rude. You don’t have to love Taylor Swift but you could at least be respectful of her.
