Video: “Toy Story 3″ trailer

Here’s something to brighten your Monday morning: The first full theatrical trailer for “Toy Story 3″ is now online and posted above.

In the long-awaited sequel, Sheriff Woody (voice of Tom Hanks), Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen) and the rest of their toy pals end up in a child-care center after their owner Andy goes off to college. From the trailer, the gang will plot to bust out of their new home after enduring some rough handling from the rambunctious children.

I’m pleased to report that the trailer is very touching and absolutely hilarious. If it’s any indication, the geniuses at Pixar will have another huge hit on their hands and won’t disappoint fans of the “Toy Story” series.

“Toy Story 3″ opens in 3-D June 18, 2010.

In other “Toy Story” news, I’ll post here Tuesday my column about taking my kids to see the “Toy Story” and “Toy Story 2″ 3-D Double Feature. The double feature is showing in theaters through Thursday.
