Author Kaylie Jones to sign memoir at Edmond’s Best of Books
EDMOND — Kaylie Jones, the daughter of famed novelist James Jones, will do a reading and signing of her memoir “Lies My Mother Never Told Me” from 5:30 to 7 p.m. today at Best of Books, 1313 E Danforth Road.
The book describes the author’s battle with alcoholism and her struggle to flourish despite the looming shadow of a famous father, the National Book Award–winning author of “From Here to Eternity” and “The Thin Red Line,” and an emotionally abusive and damaged mother, lovely raconteur Gloria Mosolino Jones.
