KISS, LL Cool J, Red Hot Chili Peppers among 2010 rock hall nominees

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame announced today the 12 artists vying for induction in the 2010 class.
First-time nominees include KISS, LL Cool J, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Genesis, Jimmy Cliff, The Hollies and songwriter Laura Nyro.
Others who have appeared on the ballot before: Donna Summer, Darlene Love, ABBA, the Chantels, and the Stooges.
Only five artists will make it into next year’s inductee class, according to the Associated Press. The honorees will be announced in December.
The 25th annual induction ceremony will take place March 15 in New York City.
