It’s been a tough football season so far for both my Oklahoma State Cowboys and the Oklahoma Sooners, with each teams suffering a defeat at the hands of underdog opponents.

But the season must go on: The No. 16-ranked Cowboys will play Rice at 6 tonight at Boone Pickens Stadium in Stillwater. The game will not be televised, so if you can’t make it to the stadium, listen on 96.1 KXY-FM.

The No. 12 Sooners will play in-state opponent Tulsa at 2:30 p.m. at Gaylord Family-Oklahoma Memorial Stadium in Norman. The game will be shown on FSN.

The University of Florida, where my husband went to college before graduating from OSU, still has the No. 1 team in the land. The Gators face SEC rival Tennessee at 2:30 p.m. today at the Swamp in Gainesville, Fla. The matchup will be shown on CBS.

Go teams!
