“Twilight” stars to reveal another “New Moon” trailer at MTV Video Music Awards

Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner will be on hand at the Sept. 13 MTV Video Music Awards to debut an exclusive, expanded trailer for “The Twilight Saga: New Moon,” according to MTV.com.
The first trailer for the hotly anticipated sequel was unveiled during May’s MTV Movie Awards. The second trailer, which invited fans to “Meet Jacob Black,” premiered last month with another Summit Entertainment film, “Bandslam.”
MTV.com also will debut the first single off the “New Moon” soundtrack, Death Cab for Cutie’s “Meet Me on the Equinox,” on Sept. 13.

Also, I got a chance earlier this week to speak by phone to Kellan Lutz, who plays vampire Emmett Cullen, about “New Moon.” Lutz chatted with me from Vancouver, British Columbia, where he was on the set of the third movie, “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.” I’ll be running that interview in November when “New Moon” opens in theaters, so keep an eye out for that.
