Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday for AC/DC’s upcoming Oklahoma City stop on its “Black Ice World Tour.”

The show will be about to rock at 8 p.m. Nov. 4 at the Ford Center.

The venue has announced that a limited number of tickets to the AC/DC concert will be sold exclusively online through paperless ticket delivery from Ticketmaster.com.

Purchasing a paperless ticket means fans will not receive a physical ticket for entry into the concert. The credit card used to purchase the ticket simply becomes a fan’s entry into the venue the night of the show. Paperless tickets are designed to help ensure fans have secure and convenient access to event tickets at the original sale price.

As I understand it, the intent is to cut down on scalping and prevent that age-old “Did we forget the tickets?” panic that my family has on the way to every single concert.

If you’re considering taking the paperless tickets route, here’s how it works on the day of show:

- Concert-goers must bring the original credit card they used for the ticket purchase and their government-issued photo ID to the concert.

- All members of the ticket purchaser’s party must be present at the same time to enter the venue.

- A Ford Center ticket usher will swipe their credit card upon entry and present each person in their party with seat locator slips for quick access into the show.

Traditional paper tickets are still available at the Ford Center Box Office and all Ticketmaster outlets including participating Suncoast, FYE and Homeland stores. Fans can also call  (800) 745-3000 or online to www.okfordcenter.com and www.ticketmaster.com to get their tickets.

Tickets are priced at $90.50 (additional fees may apply).
