The 40th anniversary of Woodstock is drawing near, and The Oklahoman is looking for stories from people – especially Oklahomans – who attended the legendary festival. The Woodstock Music & Art Fair took place Aug. 15-18, 1969, near Bethel, N.Y., and featured performances by the likes of Jimi Hendrix, The Who, Janis Joplin and many more.

Anyone interested in sharing their Woodstock experiences for a feature story to run in The Oklahoman and on NewsOK.com is asked to contact Entertainment Editor Gene Triplett at (405) 475-4105 or by e-mail etriplett@opubco.com.
