Today’s featured event:

PAULS VALLEY – Take in an in-house scavenger hunt, trivia contests and free drawings at G.I. Joe Day at the Toy & Action Figure Museum, 111 S Chickasaw. The event marks the opening of the museum’s new exhibit, “G.I. Joe, A Real American Hero.”

An entire room at the popular Oklahoma attraction has been redesigned to showcase hundreds of  G.I. Joe action figures, along with transport vehicles and military props also released by Hasbro from 1982 through 1986, which recently were added to the museum’s collection. (The exhibit, of course, is timed to tie into the opening of next week’s movie “G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra.”)
