“Pride and Prejudice and Zombies” to become graphic novel
Our resident comic book expert Matt Price of Nerdage is reporting that the best-selling book ”Pride and Prejudice and Zombies” is being adapated into a graphic novel.
Del Rey Books has announced it will publish “Pride and Prejudice and Zombies: The Graphic Novel” based on Seth Grahame-Smith’s horror-comic take on Jane Austen’s classic tale. The book offers “The Classic Regency Romance – Now with Ultraviolent Zombie Mayhem!”
“Pride and Prejudice and Zombies: The Graphic Novel” is set to publish in January. A film version also is in development for a possible 2011 release.
My husband recently bought and enjoyed “Pride and Prejudice and Zombies.” The book was just passed along to me, and I can hardly wait to sink my teeth into it, if you’ll pardon a bit of zombie humor.
