Well, the one-man show that is Sacha Baron Cohen has topped the box office once again, this time with his polarizing new film “Bruno,” his follow-up to 2006′s “Borat.”
The other new release this week, the comedy “I Love You, Beth Cooper,” did not fair so well, premiering at No. 7 with only $5 million.
Meanwhile, “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” continued to be a force at the box office as it became the first film of the year to earn more than $300 million.
Here are the box office numbers for this weekend, according to the IMDB.
1. “Bruno” $30.4 million (New)
2. “Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs” $28.5 million ($121 million)

3. “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” $24.2 million ($339 million)
4. “Public Enemies” $14.1 million ($66.5 million)
5. “The Proposal” $10.5 million ($114 million)
6. ” The Hangover” $9.93 million ($222 million)

7. “I Love You, Beth Cooper” $5 million (New)
8. “Up” $4.66 million ($274 million)
9. “My Sister’s Keeper” $4.18 million ($35.8 million)
10. “Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian” $1.52 million ($171 million)
Of course, everything is about to change this week with Wednesday’s long-delayed arrival of a certain boy wizard …
