On Tuesday, 20,000 people gathered inside the Staples Center in Los Angeles for a somber ceremony to bid farewell to Michael Jackson. Jackson died June 25 at the age of 50.
The public memorial service was watched by millions more around the world.
A star-studded lineup of performers closely linked to Jackson’s life and music participated in the service, and the King of Pop’s 11-year-old daughter Paris-Michael made her first public statement, saying, “Ever since I was born, Daddy has been the best father I could imagine.”
