Country trio Rascal Flatts, which includes Joe Don Rooney of Picher, will perform Friday in New York City as part of the “Today” show’s summer concert series.
The band will play its catchy new single, “Summer Nights,” and some of its previous hits, according to CMT.com.
Friday will be a big day for the band for another reason: It’s lead singer Gary LeVox’s 39th birthday.
The group then will continue on its “Unstoppable” tour with dates at Darien Center, N.Y., on Saturday and Scranton, Pa., on Sunday with special guests Darius Rucker and comedian Cledus T. Judd.
The “Today” show is giving fans the chance to submit their questions for Rascal Flatts online. Click here to find the form.
