Oklahoma country music fans are invited to check out a pair of free performances by up-and-coming singer Katie Armiger Tuesday at Penn Square Mall.
Armiger will perform songs off her critically acclaimed second album “Believe” from noon to 1 p.m. and 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday in Penn Square Mall’s center court.
The performances are part of her latest stop on the “Simon dTOUR Live – Country Music Tour.” The 24-city tour is presented by Simon Property Group, Cold River Records, Great American Country and F.Y.E., according to a news release.
According to the release, Armiger has set several records for the highest chart numbers ever seen by an independent female artist on R&R and Music Row. She also recorded one of the highest download weeks ever seen by a country Discovery Artist on iTunes. She has been featured in numerous publications as an artist to watch including People Magazine, Country Weekly, The Tennessean, Cosmo Girl, Seventeen.com, AOL’s The Boot, and the Houston Chronicle.
The 18-year-old Houston native will perform two 45-minute sets. She also will sign autographs and accompany one lucky concert-goer on a shopping spree with a $500 Simon Giftcard, courtesy of KKNG 93.3FM and Buckle, provider of the official tour wardrobe.
People can register to win the $500 Simon Giftcard shopping spree Tuesday at the mall.
