Tulsa-born singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist St. Vincent will team up with Andrew Bird for a month of U.S. tour dates this fall, starting Sept. 29 in Indianapolis.

The two critically acclaimed artists will also be paired for an episode of “Austin City Limits,” scheduled to air on PBS stations nationwide on Oct. 24, according to a news release.

Before touring with Bird, St. Vincent will play the All Points West and Virgin Mobile festivals, and make a short run of northeast and Canadian headlining dates.

St. Vincent’s new album ‘Actor’ (4AD) was released recently to rave reviews, with NPR describing it as a “a surreal sonic wonderland” and the New York Times proclaiming her music “defies categories.”

Born Annie Clark, St. Vincent was previously a member of The Polyphonic Spree and Sufjan Stevens’ touring band.

Last week, St. Vincent made her national television debut on “The Late Show With David Letterman.” Check out her great performance of “Marrow” (not “Morrow” as the YouTube video is labeled):

St. Vincent’s tour dates are listed on the jump. Unfortunately, none of them are bringing her anywhere close to Oklahoma.
