British bands Yes and Asia will showcase their progressive rock style and play their hits like “I’ve Seen All Good People,” “Roundabout” and “Heat of the Moment” during a benefit concert for the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame & Museum. The performance will take place at 8 p.m. July 16 at the Muskogee Civic Center, the museum announced.
“This is a fantastic opportunity for music fans to experience the talent and musical contribution these two bands have made to our culture during more than four decades of performances,” said Max Boydstun, president of the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame & Museum, in the news release.
A portion of the proceeds will go to the hall of fame and museum.
The bands will make a stop in Muskogee as part of a 24-city tour, which begins June 26 in Indio, Calif.
Reserved-seat tickets for the concert are $55 each, plus a service charge, and are available at the Muskogee Civic Center; Reasors, Starship Records and Tapes, the Eufaula Food Market. You can also order tickets by phone at (866) IGETTIX or online at www.GETTIX.net.
