Wednesday Video Spotlight: Movie trailers
Every so often, I dedicate the Wednesday Video Spotlight here at the blog to trailers for upcoming films. That’s what I’m doing today, starting with the awesome new trailer for Guy Ritchie’s take on “Sherlock Holmes,” starring Robert Downey Jr., Jude Law and Rachel McAdams. I really want to see this one, but it doesn’t open ’til Christmas, so I’ll have to wait until then to unwrap it.
Then, take a look at the trailers for “9,” which is not to be confused with “Nine.” To clarify, “9″ is a post-apocalyptic animated film produced by Tim Burton with the voice talents of Elijah Wood, John C. Reilly and Jennifer Connelly. “Nine” is Rob Marshall’s upcoming musical about famous film director Guido Contini, starring Daniel Day-Lewis, Marion Cotillard, Nicole Kidman and a passle of other Oscar winners. Why nine is suddenly everyone’s favorite digit/film title, I have no idea. But it’s sure confusing.
And here are a few more previews, all posted here from YouTube:
