Toby Keith extends “America’s Toughest” tour

Oklahoma country star Toby Keith is wrapping up his yearly United Service Organization tour, having visited forward operating bases in Afghanistan as part of his seventh USO trip to the Middle East.
His next tour, however, has been extended.
Keith’s ”America’s Toughest Tour,” presented by Ford F Series, opens June 18 in Holmdel, N.J., and the itinerary has recently expanded through September. Keith is joined on the tour by fellow country hitmaker Trace Adkins.
Touring in support of his latest album, “That Don’t Make Me A Bad Guy,” Keith is enjoying the third consecutive hit from the release as “Lost You Anyway” powers into the top 20. The song follows his back-to-back No. 1 singles “She Never Cried In Front of Me” and “God Love Her,” the latter recently rang the bell as his 25th No. 1 single.
Keith doesn’t play Oklahoma shows as a rule, since he lives in Norman. But he will performing in nearby Dallas and Kansas City, Mo., on “America’s Toughest.”
