Garth, I'm happy to see you're doing a film about your song 'Unanswered Prayers'...Loved the album and the song. I'm auditioning for the role of 'Henry' and hopefully my prayer will be 'answered' on this one. Take care-Andrew

I adore and admire Garth Brooks! He is such a talented singer, song-writer, & actor. He is a favorite of mine because he is so humble, never seems to forget who he is, where he came from, & gives back constantly to his fans & charities. He loves his family also & puts them 1st. He deserves all the awards he has been given & I think it's wonderful about the movie! I have been extremely ill for 20 years now, since my children were 3,4 & 5. I have spent most ot the last 20 years in the hospital or at home on IV's, feeding tubes, etc. His music as well as Trish's & Reba's brought me so much comfort. I always wanted to attend a concert but due to poor health & finances, couldn't. I'm still not well & had my pancreas removed in 1998. I'm a very brittle diabetic & am weak so need a wheelchair when I go out. I have to have surgery again & the outcome doesn't look good! My children have saved & are paying for my husband to take me to fanfare for 4 days this summer! I wish I could see Garth! My husband is an amazing man & has given 100% to his family! He never complains or thinks of himself! He has done EVERYTHING for myself & the children. He never missed a scool function, coached the boys football, baseball, & soccer teams. Went to the games to watch my daughter perform at half-time dancing & when she was crowned Senior prom queen! All 3 kids were in the gifted & talented classes in school. Now his main goals are to finish putting our 2 sons thru college. Our daughter graduated last April & our oldest son will graduate this April. Our youngest son still has 3 years left. Both boys went on a 2 year Spanish speaking mission for our church! My husband has made sure that the kids have what they need. He doesn't even have a car of his own. He drives my son's truck that he bought while he was in High School. Our kids work every summer to help pay for their college & living expenses. We owe 70,000 in loans which we pay on every month. I worry continually & blame myself because if I wasn't ill I could work & help! When I tell my hubby he deserves better he just says that as long as we have each other & a very close loving knit family that he's the richest man in the world! I am telling you all this because I want Garth to know what an inspiration he is to us & so many. Tell him \thank-you\ for his example and all the many hours of comfort he has given me during some very difficult times. I have been at death's door too numerous times to count! Life is short & I couldn't be happier that him & Trisha found that special love together & are enjoying their life together! They deserve that! The Good Lord willing, maybe we will see them in Nashville! Bless you Garth Brooks! May you be given back a million fold what you have given to so many others! Your children are blessed to have a father like you! With sincere love & best wishes, Vicki Peterson
